1st Gary HAMMOND +4
2nd Basil MUSCA +4
3rd Peter MUSCA +1
NAGA Craig MARKHAM - 9
This week was Par round and great turnout of 26 players enjoyed the surprise weather of no rain. Basil hot form continued with strong front 9 +2 and back 9 +2 and finished with a +4, but it wasn’t good enough as Hammo kept in touch on the front 9 +1 and came home strong with +3 and won on a count back. Hammo does back to back and which is a never an easy thing to do. His hot form cannot be ignored as he charges home in the second half of the season.
Rob Mathias had his first game at the club since the last SWO and he forgot how dangerous the game could be as he steps in a sprinkler hole and rolled over his ankle. He hobbled home on the back 9 courageously like the Richmond supporter he is. The club was inspired that afternoon by his bravery. Another brave round today was by Peter Musca (The Adopted One) younger sibling of Basil, -3 after the first 3 holes. Dug deep as he needed to impress his older brother who he was playing with and came home strongly with +1 for the day and finished 3rd on count back his first podium finish. Honourable mention to Mr Shinboner Pete Fitzpatrick great front 9 +2 and solid (I.E 2nd half) and finished with +1, good things are coming for the Roos.
Wonderful sites to see, the Musca Brothers dominate the podium photo. We end the report with the adventures of Constable Care again, another NAGA and was heard he would be opening a stationery shop with his collection of NAGA pens. But maybe the tide is slowly turning -6 on the front 9, but recovered with a -3 on the back 9. We await next week instalment.
