Norm finds form

Collier Park - Pines Island - Stableford

This week was a standard game of Stableford with no real pressure aside from what lies within.

Johnny was his usual self hitting great drives and putting up a good score, he is having a great season so far.  Myself and Norm had an up and down first nine basically not thinking too much, however on the second 9 things clicked for both of us. Between us there were 4 birdies in 4 holes and on the 5th (Par 5 Pines) Norm sank a putt for a birdie which measured 25 meters on the GPS , from the very front of the green to very back.  So all of that rolled on with both us sitting on two under for the 9 with two holes left. As usual the golfing gods leveled it with a couple of bad bounces and two shanks to have us both finish on 37 for the 9.

Mike Newman was the unlucky one this week also finishing on 36 for the game and 20 points for the 9, thinking that any count backs were covered, but was pipped by a 22.
