Musca back on top

Collier - Par

This week was the always difficult Par competition again with a Matchplay on the side between Rob and Norm. It was great to see Basil back in the winner circle with some great form and sinking putts from everywhere.

Steve Hooper was on fire as well with a great all round game and was sitting at +6 for a period of time.

Norm and Rob had an interesting Matchplay with some good holes and them both having some interesting shots to say the least. Neither could break away which was the main thing and it came down to the last hole in which Norm had some chipping issues through sand and trees which opened the door wide open for Rob's win.  It was good to see Jamie F back as well after a couple of weeks off and he hadn’t lost a thing, playing better than his handicap and talking the Long drive B grade.

Most were relieved to play the Island 9 again after being MIA for such a long time, none happier than myself, getting a birdie on the difficult 9th.
