This week was the loved or hated Par comp which is particularly ruthless. Its one of Laurie’s favourites! Dave Ogg didn’t seem to mind it as he doubled the first and then proceeded to par the next 10 holes and for those not in know that only equates to plus 3, hence Par is a tough gig. He managed to hold that score line to the end with a nicely timed birdie on the Island 8th. Another great sub 80 round. Hammo was off his game on the first two holes then strung it all together for plus 2. Heiney was looking like he was going to win for a long time but a couple of holes on the back 9 got away from him finishing with plus 1. The rest of the field was evenly spread down the Leader Board one shot at a time. Basil had a rare form slump and was NAGA but only just. We can put that down to the West Perth victory so he is excused.
