Back-to-Back Wins for Bindon!

This week was a trip up the hill to Elcabalo Blanco. The course layout is one of the best going around, whilst it is not long the placement of bunkers creeks and water hazards is a good test of course management. Tough on a fine day, today was magnified ten fold with driving rain and wind gusts. There was the odd spot of sun to dry us all out only to be hit with sideways rain again flooding the fairways. A few people had trouble trying to keep the carts moving up the hills as the wheels just spun and spun.

The two paced greens caused a few headaches, Craig was pretty frustrated as he had 5 birdie and one eagle putts from 2 meters and under and only two dropped the others lipping out after holding the line after great tee to green ball striking with a couple of 220 meter 3 woods to with a meter and both par 3 approaches the same. Trevor was the man of the day, negotiating the course well and getting a few putts to drop, bringing home 38 points with a couple of wipes. He first 9 was one of his best with 23 points, the ever reliable Doug snuck into 3rd place.

Rob had a day to forget and with perhaps his first look at the course and given the conditions and the difficulty anyway it was easily done with a few people not far behind him.
